02. Creating an application

Product: MioFactory

An application is composed of files: codes, images, sounds, etc.
A project is a folder containing all the files and sub-folders required by an application.

Creating an application (or a new project) is easy with the help of templates. A template contains the minimum files required to create an application: source code and images.

Choosing a template with MioFactory

Some templates are ready to use, such as for a Desktop News Ticker or a Desktop Alert.
In that case, your job consists in editing the settings and source codes to change the application behavior, and to replace the bitmaps to include your logo and colors.

Others templates requires a minimum of coding. For example, the template to create an HTML Application requires a content. This HTML content can be reused from a web site or created with MioFactory.

Project Folder

When you create an application, you must select or create a folder to store the application files.
You can edit the application files from the tab Files. More information.

Saving your project

When you save your project, all the files updated with MioFactory are saved.

If you want to backup your project in a single file, you can create an archive from the File menu.
